Burmahs Cottons
BURMAHS COTTONS
These cottons are largely exported direct from Rangoon or overland to China, and are little used in India. Principal centres are Myingyan and Thayetnyo. The principal varieties are Wa-gale (Myingyan) and Wa gyi. Suitable for spinning up to 8's/10's weft. The Shan State cottons are of superior staple, but are little known.
