- BURMAHS COTTONSThese cottons are largely exported direct from Rangoon or overland to China, and are little used in India. Principal centres are Myingyan and Thayetnyo. The principal varieties are Wa-gale (Myingyan) and Wa gyi. Suitable for spinning up to 8's/10's weft. The Shan State cottons are of superior staple, but are little known.
